CRANIAL MRI EXAMINATION WITH CONTRAST AGENT

With a cranial MRI examination we can examine the brain, the gray and white matter, the ventricles and the blood vessels. MRI is a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses a magnetic field to take detailed images of the human body. The magnetic field generated by the device converts the energy changes in the body into high-resolution, three-dimensional images with the help of a computer.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE EXAMINATION?

In all cases, it is recommended to consult a neurologist prior to the MRI examination. It is recommended to remove the makeup from the face before the examination, as any metal content may affect the image quality. Do not eat food for 6 hours prior to the examination.

IN WHICH CASES CAN THE EXAMINATION NOT BE PERFOMED?

Please note that we cannot perform the examination in the following cases:

• there is metal in your body (prosthetics,implants) which can be magnetized
• you cannot provide a medical referral for the examination
• in case your kidney function is under 45 eGFR we cannot perform the examination with contrast agents
• you have severe pain, which makes it impossible to lay still for longer periods
• you have claustrophobia, and cannot stay still in closed places
• you are pregnant, or it is possible that you are pregnant
• you are late for the examination, or do not show up for the examination

Please do not buy the service in the above mentioned cases.

In case the examination cannot be done due to the above mentioned cases, please consider that we cannot reimburse the purchase.

HOW TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

In case of online payment, our system sends a confirmation e-mail to your e-mail address following the arrival of your payment on our account. This e-mail contains the phone number of our Call Center where you can book your appointment for the examination.
