Whole-body MRI examination

Whole-body MRI examination helps detect cancerous, inflammatory, and degenerative lesions at an early stage.  It could help get an overall view of your health conditions. Contrast agent is not used for this examination.

The spectrum of the screening extends from the skull to the pelvis. It includes the skull and its vascular plexus, the spine (cervical, dorsal, lumbar section), the soft tissue of the neck, the position of the heart and chest cavity, the abdominal organs (liver, stomach, pancreas, bile, kidneys, intestines), and the female / male genitals in the pelvis. The examination of the limbs, joints, the heart, and the breasts is not part of this screening.

The scan takes 75 minutes, which could not be interrupted. The patient should lie still during the examination.

It is important to know that due to the strong magnetic field, it is forbidden to bring any metal, device or object containing metal into the examination room! This also applies to jewellery and piercings in the body.

In which cases the screening cannot be performed?

We inform our Clients that the whole-body MRI scan cannot be performed in the following cases:

• if any magnetic responsive materials are implanted in the body (joint prosthesis, pin, screw, valve, pacemaker, implant, etc.)
• having severe pain that does not allow to lie still for a longer period
• having claustrophobia or other phobia that requires discontinuation of the examination
• pregnancy
• the Client is in significant delay or not showing up

Before purchasing the service, please note that if the examination cannot be performed for the reasons above, we will not be able to refund the paid amount.

How do I make an appointment?

In case of online payment, our system sends a confirmation e-mail to your e-mail address following the arrival of your payment to our account. This e-mail contains the phone number of our Call Center, where you can book your appointments for the examination.
