Morning-after pill prescription

We prescribe emergency contraception, also known as the morning-after pill at our Urgent Care Center. The pill should be taken as soon as possible, but not later than 5 days (120 hours) after unprotected sexual intercourse or inadequate use of the contraceptive method. The prescription does not require an in-person consultation; it is written in the form of an e-prescription for our clients, following a telephone consultation with our physician.

You should do a pregnancy test and see your doctor in case your period is more than 7 days late after taking the pill, if your period bleed is unusually light or heavy, or if you experience symptoms such as abdominal pain, breast tenderness, vomiting or nausea.

Our clients can request a morning-after pill prescription by calling our Call Center at +36 1 465 3112 from Monday to Saturday between 7:00 and 19:30. Our doctor on duty will call you over the phone once the online payment has been settled. The E-prescription will be written immediately in the central online healthcare system and can be picked up in a pharmacy straight after the teleconsultation.
